PRESERVING
CELLS, TISSUES AND OTHER LIVING BIOMATERIALS (OOCYTES, SPERM, STEM CELLS, SKIN,
MUSCLE, BONE MARROW,…) FROM ENDANGERED ANIMALS Such samples: . Coming often from dead individuals, but their
cells remain cryo-preserved ALIVE . When they come from living individuals, they are
always obtained harmlessly (surgery remains, etc) . They represent a SAFE for threatened species . They will allow to obtain new individuals by
reproductive biotechnologies as well as helping the conservation of the existing
ones (by biosanitary or genetic analysis and so on) |
